The Honda CB450S is a sport touring style motorcycle powered by 447cc, Air cooled, parallel twin cylinder, four stroke, SOHC, 3 valves per cylinder, 360° crankshaft and  twin balance-shafts engine, combined with 2x 30mm Keihin CV fuel induction system and six-speed transmission system generating 45 hp 32.8 KW max. power at 9000 rpm and 33 Nm max. torque at 7500 rpm. This motorcycle features telescopic forks 124.5mm wheel travel front suspension, swing arm 97mm wheel travel rear suspension system with 2x 260mm disc 2 piston calipers front brakes.

The Honda VTR1000F is a V-twin sportbike first introduced in 1997 by Honda. It is known in the U.S. as the SuperHawk, outside the U.S. it is marketed as the Firestorm.

This manual describes detail procedures for maintaining, repairing, trouble diagnosis, servicing and troubleshooting the 2000 Honda VTR1000SP series. This repair manual is divided into sections. Follow the Maintenance Schedule in section 3 to ensure that the motorcycle is in operating conditions. Section 1 and 3 apply to the whole motorcycle. Section 2 illustrates procedures for removal/ installation of components that may be required to perform service described in the following sections. Section 4 through 19 describes parts of the motorcycle which is grouped according to location.
