Owner and Service Manual Review

The Yamaha YZF-R1 was first introduced by Yamaha in 1998. The first generation was equipped with 20 valve, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, having total displacement reach 998 cc, generating maximum power up to 128.2 bhp (95.6 kW) at 10000 rpm, and producing maximum torque up to 70.8 lb·ft (96.0 N·m) at 7750 rpm.
