Cadillac introduced the XLR at the 2003 Detroit Motor Show and began production in the 2004 model year. Upon introduction, XLR features heated and cooled leather seats, wood interior trim, remote keyless access, 18 inch alloy wheels, side airbags as well as a navigation, audio, and DVD system sharing a 7-inch dashboard screen.
All 2007 versions of Cadillac XLR’s two-seat V8 convertible have a 6-speed automatic transmission (except for the base model), a power-retractable hardtop, and different suspension tuning, ABS, traction/antiskid control, run-flat tires, and GM’s automatic-adjusting Magnetic Ride Control are standard. The base models produce 320 hp. While the supercharged XLR-V generates 443 hp.
