I have the samsung impression a877 and i was wondering if I can set a ringtone for receiving text messages.
yes you can…..first the contact has to be saved to your phone not your sim card….then you go to edit contact….tap on add more fields….tap message tone so there is a check mark in the box….tap done….it will take you back to the contact information screen….tap message tone….tap special tone…tap change….tap audio….tap tones….select the tone you want…..tap add….then tap select…then tap save. Your ringtone should be set for text messages then.
What could likely be the cause of received texts,pictures and videos not shown on sgh-a877 phone.The common display on screen is ‘UNSUPPORTED MESSAGE OR OPERATION.

how do you remove the “No Event” from the menu
hae i just got 1 of these fones and iom having trouble wuith the touch screen.Its not working at all. it worked for like 15 minutes after i tried to fix it for about 20 mins then stopped working again.any hints on what to do. the nimber you ring to fix it isnt working either
On the main screen I have a messege “No Event”. it has been there for a couple of days, and I can not get rid of it.
