The Mitsubishi Mirage is a subcompact car produced by Mitsubishi Motors from 1978 to 2002. The 1999 Mirage was powered by 1,468 cc 1.5 liters 4 in-line engine with 75.5 mm bore, 82 mm stroke, 9 compression ratio, overhead cam and three valves per cylinder, using unleaded fuel with economy EPA highway (l/100km): 6.5. It was equipped with multi-point injection fuel system resulting 69 kW , 92 HP power @ 5,500 rpm. In 1999, the Mirage came with four models for this year – the DE and LS in both coupe and sedan. The DE models feature a 1.5-liter 92-hp engine while the LE models upgrade to a more powerful 1.8-liter 113-hp engine.
