The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is a mid-size sport utility vehicle with a pickup truck bed built by the Ford Motor Company since 2000. The 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has two engines available. The first is a 210-hp, 4.0-liter, V6 engine. There is also a 292-hp, 4.6-liter, V8 engine available. The Ford Explorer Sport Trac engines allow the vehicle to go from 0 – 60 mph in 9.07 seconds. New engine calibrations and improved emissions controls cut NOx emissions by 74 percent – from 14.2 to 3.6 pounds per 15,000 miles – without sacrificing horsepower, torque, or fuel economy.
