The Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size crossover SUV built on the GM Lambda platform in 2008. It is a successor to both the Uplander minivan and Trailblazer SUV. The Chevrolet Traverse features the LLT engine, a 3.6 L (3564 cc, 217 cu in) double overhead cam V6 with VVT and direct injection which delivers 281 hp (210 kW) in the LS and LT models, or 288 hp (215 kW) with the dual exhaust in the LTZ model.
Traverse is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Available safety equipment includes ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Available features include DVD entertainment, rear climate control, leather upholstery, navigation system, remote engine start, satellite radio, rear obstacle detection, and a rearview camera.
